~~ About the Single-Phase Frigitek ~~
Our brochure "Introducing the Single-Phase Frigitek" is the best way to become familiar with the Single-Phase unit.  Here is the brochure, in PDF format.
If you don't want to download the brochure just now, here is a snapshot of the different Single-Phase Systems:

      • 120 VAC, 5 Amp Control Unit
      • 120 VAC, 10 Amp Control Unit
      • 120 VAC, 15 Amp Control Unit
      • 120 VAC, 25 Amp Control Unit

      • 208/240 VAC, 5 Amp Control Unit
      • 208/240 VAC, 10 Amp Control Unit
      • 208/240 VAC, 15 Amp Control Unit
      • 208/240 VAC, 25 Amp Control Unit

      • 480 VAC, 10 Amp Control Unit

These units work equally well at saving energy costs in above-freezing refrigerators, or in freezers.
The Single-Phase Frigitek is usually mounted on the front or side of the evaporator case.  Here is a typical installation.
The 480 Volt model is in a different case style, and must be mounted on the wall near the evaporator it controls.  Here is a picture of the 480 Volt unit.
The Installation Manual for the Single-Phase Frigitek is a very good source of detailed information about the unit.  You may download it in PDF format here.

Typically, consideration of an installation begins with a free analysis of the potential savings which a Frigitek could provide.  For an explanation of the analysis procedure, visit our Analysis page.

For a complete description of the design process for a typical installation, see our Design Process page.
